Habit:- A spiny herb growing near moist places. Spines are yellow in whorl of six. Leaves sessile, in whorl 6 leaves at each node Flowers bluish purple.

Actions:- Cooling, Diuretic, Sweet, Spermopoietic, Galactogogue, Tonic.
